Ms. Denise Graham
Denise is a Registered Acupuncturist with more than 20 years of experience in holistic wellness. Her path into holistic medicine was inspired by her personal journey of navigating, managing, and healing from pain, which informs her deeply compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. She is a graduate of the Autumn Institute of Health, where she completed three years of training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and East Asian Medicine, and she is a current member of the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia.
In addition to her acupuncture practice, Denise is a certified reflexologist and a member of the Reflexology Association of Canada.
She is deeply committed to providing care that is safe, patient-focused, and effective. She believes that the best healing outcomes are achieved through collaboration. Denise enjoys working alongside doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to thoughtfully integrate traditional and modern approaches to care.
Denise’s practice focuses on relieving pain while supporting long-term emotional and physical well-being. She is currently mentoring with Kenton Sefcik, studying Deep Tissue Lymphatic Acupuncture (DTLA), a specialized technique developed by Haruo Matsumoto and brought to Canada by Alexander Audette. This approach supports the body’s natural anti-inflammatory processes, gently warms and softens tissues, and promotes a calming, restorative effect. Denise treats a wide range of concerns, including chronic pain, women’s health, digestive issues, mental health and stress related conditions, respiratory disorders and sleep disturbances.

Melissa Green
Melissa is originally from Newfoundland and completed her massage therapy education at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy.
She has taken continuing education courses in fascial massage, cupping, and sports massage. Melissa is excited to continue to add modalities such as hot stone massage to her treatment plans.

Dr. Ainsley McCoul
Dr. Ainsley McCoul is originally from Shortts Lake, Nova Scotia. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida, with her Doctor of Chiropractic, summa cum laude. Prior to that she earned her Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University.
Dr. Ainsley treats clients of all ages and loves working with clients who are motivated to live a wellness lifestyle and prioritize their health. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Dr. Ainsley enjoys treating athletes and worked as a personal trainer while in university.

Meggan Penfold
Originally from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Meggan studied and graduated from the Mohawk College Massage Therapy Program. She has been registered as a Massage Therapist since 2020 when she moved to Nova Scotia with her husband.
Meggan offers a range of therapeutic services and specializes in deep tissue massage. She has particular interest in repetitive motion injury prevention/recovery, chronic pain management, and MVC recovery. She is committed to creating a comfortable and healing environment, tailoring each session to meet individual needs. Meggan is also Hot Stone Certified.

Jenn has been a dedicated healthcare professional since 2011. She began her career in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic as a Massage Therapist collaborating with a diverse team of practitioners to provide care for clients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and sports-related trauma. This experience fostered her passion for client rehabilitation and inspired her to expand her expertise.

Jeff Rooney
Jeff Rooney attended Western University and graduated from the Physiotherapy program in 1996. Jeff’s roots are in a small farming community in Southern Ontario and he has lived in Nova Scotia since 1999.
Jeff has always enjoyed his time helping clients recover from various injuries. Listening to the client and utilizing an integrated health approach have been the keys to Jeff’s success in helping people improve.
Jeff also has extensive knowledge and experience in the operations of the health care business. He has owned and/or managed over 20 clinics in Atlantic Canada. Jeff also spent 5 years as the President of the NS College of Physiotherapists and held the position of National Director of Operations for a group of over 100 physiotherapy clinics across Canada.

Trini Sigurdson
Trini graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in 2006,after successfully completing the 2200 hour Massage Therapy program. During her studies, Trini specialized in Sports Therapy, and continued her education to obtain additional certifications in Deep Tissue Therapy, Myofascial Release, Cupping, Stretch to win, and CanFit Pro personal training.

Carol Ann Sweeney graduated from The University of Guelph in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics. This degree provided her with the knowledge to pursue her certification as Pedorthic Technician in 2002 and a Canadian Certified Pedorthist in 2007. A Pedorthist is trained in the assessment, design, manufacture, fit and modification of foot appliances and footwear. The objective is to alleviate pain and provide assistance for abnormalities or limited actions of the lower limb. She has worked for numerous orthotic companies across Canada and in the province.
Carol Ann is the owner of Fit Right Orthotics which has a manufacturing lab in Porters Lake, Nova Scotia. All orthotics are manufactured and adjusted locally which enables Carol Ann to have full control of the custom orthotic process, guaranteeing a superb product.
Carol Ann prides herself on her outstanding customer service and looks forward to providing services at our numerous clinics we have partnered with. She has worked with a full range of clients including children, adults, athletes and the elderly. Emma Watson
Emma graduated from Dalhousie University in 2016 with her Masters in Physiotherapy. She previously received her undergraduate degree, also from Dalhousie, with a double major in microbiology and immunology. Emma obtained her Advanced Diploma in manual and manipulative therapy in 2024 making her a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapists (FCAMPT)
Emma is certified in Acupuncture (CAFCI) and functional dry needling as well.
Emma was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and grew up in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates before moving to Halifax in 2002.
Outside of work, Emma loves gardening, hiking, road biking, skating. She plays ringette and has previously participated in speed skating.
